Ideal Use Cases
- In-Flight Entertainment Subtitle Generation & Translation: Generate captions and subtitles TV shows, audio books, postcasts, movies, and music playlists to captivate passengers worldwide. The API can be integrated directly into the media player of the IFE system if the system is WiFi-enabled. For systems that are not WiFi-enabled, the API can be integrated into an application that generates subtitle files upfront. These files can then be loaded into the IFE system at the time content is being uploaded onto the system.
- In-Flight Announcements Translation: Translate safety instructions, travel updates, gate changes, and arrival information for every passenger. The announcement translations are provided as both text subtitles and audio. If the IFE system is WiFi-enabled, translations can be streamed directly to passengers' screens. For non-WiFi-enabled systems, translations can be streamed to users' devices via your mobile app or a webpage. When users connect to your airplane's WiFi network, you can guide them to a portal where they can enable announcement translations.
